Do I need to purchase a meal plan?

Yes! It's a great value and it is Freed-Hardeman’s policy that all designated Campus Residents purchase a meal plan each semester.

What are DiningDollars?

Dining Dollars are campus currency included on your meal plan and can be used in the Wallace-Gano Dining Hall, Lion's Pride and KC's Coffeehouse. Most meal plans include Dining Dollars.

What are Lion Bucks?

The Lion Bucks program was created for FHU students to be the ultimate complement to the university dining experience. Your campus ID ON CAMPUS at all FHU Dining locations. You, your friends and family can reload the funds online 24/7. Now your campus ID gives you the utmost flexibility, variety, and value you deserve. Do Meal Plans carry over from semester to semester?

Meal Plans may be used during the semester in which they are purchased. They do not carry over from semester to semester.

Can I change my meal plan if it does not fit my needs?

Yes! Changing to a bigger or smaller meal plan can be done during the first two weeks of school prior to the drop/add date. To change your meal plan come in person to the One Stop Shop in GC.

If I'm not a Resident Hall Student, where do I buy my meal plan?

If you live off-campus, you can purchase a traditional meal plan the One Stop ship in the GC. We have also designed a special meal plan just for you called Faculty, Staff and Commuter Block Plan.
